CEC 2011 Paper Submission Details

Final papers are due on April 15th!

1) Paper Format

Number of Pages: Maximum 8 pages, including figures, tables & references (Additional pages will be permitted at the cost of $100 per additional page)
Page Size: U.S. Letter format (8.5" x 11")
Page Numbering: Off
File Format: PDF only
File Size: 4MB maximum
Abstract: It is important that the abstract be a meaningful description of your paper.
Keywords: Choose from 3 to 8 keywords
Color: Use of color is encouraged, but since readers will usually print the papers in black and white, it is the author's responsibility to ensure that all figures/plots can be printed and understood in black and white.

2) Templates

To help ensure correct formatting, please use the style files for U.S. Letter Size found at the link below as templates for your submission. These include Word and LaTeX.

Violations of any of the above paper specifications may result in rejection of your paper. Please note that the Latex template does not allow for Keywords. If you are using the Latex template, do not include Keywords in your paper.

3) Final Paper Submission

You must use the URL and password which has been emailed to you in your acceptance letter to upload your final paper. You must follow all instructions exactly for your paper to properly get in the proceedings. In particular, you must have your paper pdf formatted and checked using IEEE PDF eXpress. 4) Notes

An accepted paper will be published in the proceedings only if the final version is accompanied by the registration and payment information for at least one of the authors (only full registration fees - IEEE Member or Non IEEE Member fees - will be allowed for this purpose). Each additionally accepted paper associated with the same registration will be subject to a mandatory publication fee of $200. No exceptions.

The registration deadline for authors with accepted paper(s) is April 15, 2011.

All accepted papers which will have been presented at IEEE CEC 2011 will be included in IEEE Xplore. Papers included in IEEE Xplore are indexed by EI/Compendex.
